Mikie Burgess (kicking bike), Clark Gristina (me - with camera), Mike Burgess (orange NOEA jacket) gassing bike on pipeline. Was a horrible mud run. I blew out my ACL practicing there a few weeks before the run (it was my home riding area). That hillclimb was called Frickes Cave, and is now a protected area in Bogue Chitto State Park. The ravine has a boardwalk in it leading up to the hill, and no one is allowed to walk on the "delicate clay sandspires" surrounding the hill. There is a 14 mile mountain bike trail surrounding the area that we still ride.
